eco design

Eco-design takes two major factors into account. The first factor is the environmental requirements required to meet specific regulations, certification, and brand positioning. The second is the environmental consequences of producing such a product including consumption of resources, atmospheric emissions, production of waste, and long-term product appreciation which are considered over the entire life cycle of the product. This assures maximum overall environmental performance and a healthy 'environmental profile'.

Eco-designed paper is more environmentally friendly. The inclusion of recycled content in the paper-making process results in less energy and water used that’s why Bolloré Thin Papers introduced Primagreen, the first eco-designed paper, with up to 50% recycled content.
