FSC® & PEFCTM certifications

Pulps used by Bolloré Thin Papers are FSC or PEFC certified. With links to the forestry sector for their supplies, all the companies in the wood sector are directly affected by forest management. Their activities form the economic basis which enables them to support their environmental and social functions.
Bolloré Thin Papers is involved with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) at its two production sites, Papeteries du Léman and Papeteries des Vosges.
These certificates, obtained in 2005 for FSC and 2010 for PEFC, guarantee that the pulps used by Bolloré Thin Papers in production of their thin papers come from responsibly managed forests.
For 2015, Bolloré Thin Papers production sites passed the maintenance audits for these certifications with success.

REACH regulation

In effect in the European Union, the REACH (Registration Evaluation an Authorisation of Chemicals) regulation aims to protect human health as well as the environment. Concretely, it means that manufacturers must register all chemical substances at a European Chemical Agency (EChA) located in Finland.
Bolloré Thin Papers is a reference on the premium thin paper market in terms of ecology and is up to date with its commitments and therefore has been keeping a REACH list since 2007.
At the request of its customers, the company sends this register that guarantees that it respects this regulation.
