The Papeteries des Vosges Celebrate their 10th Anniversary
12 June 2012: Bolloré Thin Papers celebrated the 10th anniversary of its brand-new, recently fully modernised Papeteries des Vosges site. Along with industrial and sales staff, managers welcomed their main customers for pharmaceutical and cosmetic package leaflets. 70 people from Europe and the rest of the world including Don Levin, Bolloré Thin Papers shareholder for nearly three years now, who came especially from the US for the occasion.
The reception was held in the marquee at the site entrance. It got off to an early start with the customary welcome speeches. The first, delivered by Philippe Agut, emphasised the firm's commitment to the leaflets market and everyone's involvement to take up the challenges of the past ten years "Papeteries des Vosges was born of the challenge that the staff were courageous - or crazy - enough to take up", he stated. Don Levin then took the floor. He started by most warmly congratulating the staff present for their achievements in the past ten years "A wonderful job", underlining their team spirit, perseverance and energy. He went on to thank the Bolloré Thin Papers’ customers for their trust and contribution to this achievement, without whom it would not have been such a success.
The meeting continued with a visit to the site facilities. Split into groups of ten and fitted with the customary safety vests, our customers were duly briefed on regulatory security measures by the Chief Safety Officer, before setting out to view the new Papeteries des Vosges facilities. The €7.3 million investment in 2011 was proof of our shareholder's support and their trust in our capacity to lead the market in leaflets.
In driving rain (the only dampener of the day), the reception wound up with interviews and an accompanying cocktail lunch.
Management and sales and marketing teams from Bolloré Thin Papers warmly thanked all their customers for their loyalty. Those present were especially thanked for their contribution to the success of the anniversary.
